Nivia is a proud mother, grandmother, retired educator, and joyful quilter whose hands have served both classrooms and communities. After 30+ years guiding students as a teacher, mentor, and assistant principal in New York City, she now pours her heart into quilting—an art she first learned from her mother at just eight years old. Today, Nivia creates each piece with purpose and prayer, offering warmth, encouragement, and love one stitch at a time.
